Paris Airshow 2019 Order recap

With the trade days now at a close for the Paris Airshow, I thought I’d compile a list of commercial aircraft orders received during this week. If you’ve followed this site, you’ll no doubt be aware that the Airbus A321XLR was the clear winner with 226 orders and commitments. Although the companies A350 line didn’t receive a single order, the company did however gain an order for the A330-900neo on the opening day of the show from Virgin Atlantic.
The other major player, Boeing had a disappointing show regarding orders – which isn’t exactly a surprise given the companies recent issues. Not a single order was made for the upcoming 777X although IAG did sign a letter of intent to purchase 200 of the rumoured rebranded 737-8 and 737-10 models.
Embraer scored a reasonable sized order for 35 E195-E2 aircraft from it’s biggest customer, KLM. This is on top of various other smaller orders, meaning the Brazilian company has seen 78 orders in total.
Note that this list isn’t totally complete. It’s based on the only information I could find online. It should also be noted that some of the list below (especially in the case of the A321XLR) includes current orders that have been converted to other types.
