Copenhagen: In Pictures

Copenhagen is a city that I have visited a few times before. Since my first visit in 2013, not too much has changed. Although the city is still a very pleasant place to wander around.

As such, rather than hang around at the airport between flights, I took the 20 minute metro ride into the city. This threw me out at the other end of the city as opposed to the train which is situated near Tivoli Gardens. This trip basically would be the reverse route of every other visit.

This would actually be my first visit to Copenhagen in over 18 months, so it was somewhat pleasant to get reacquainted.

Despite a few snow showers being forecast for my visit, these didn’t turn up and it was actually a pleasant afternoon.

As I didn’t have a ton of time, I stuck to the main tourist areas of Nyhavn, along with the main shopping drag. My time was filled up perfectly. Enough time to see all I wanted without it being too rushed. Although equally, I didn’t end up heading back to the airport earlier than I wanted to either.
