It has emerged this afternoon that British Airways will operate the Boeing 747-400 on select domestic routes in August. So far the schedule is:
BA1482 LHR-GLA 12:00/13:30
BA1487 GLA-LHR 15:00/16:25
BA1386 LHR-MAN 10:10/11:20
BA1391 MAN-LHR 12:50/14:00
BA1326 LHR-NCL 09:20/10:35
BA1327 NCL-LHR 12:40/14:00

This isn’t the first time the airline has operated the Jumbo on celebratory domestic flights. Back in 2010 a 747 was used on a one off Newcastle rotation to celebrate the airports 75th anniversary.
If you want to book, be quick! From a quick search this evening, the prices of these flights were already getting significantly higher than the other flights between these cities and London. However if they get too high, you could also use Avios…
